Organizing Your Function





The Galston Club has a range of function packages available to suit your requirements. The following are the standard packages; however we can tailor a package specific to your needs with different menus and styles of food if required.







CATERING







TERMS AND CONDITIONS



To ensure the success of any event, the following information has been designed to satisfy any questions and ensure the success of your function. Please read all information and if you have any further queries please email reception@galstonclub.com.au.







CONFIRMATION OF BOOKING



To hold a function at The Galston Club it is beneficial to become a member as pricing will be at a member rate (including GST).  A deposit of $200.00 is required within 21 days to secure a booking. This deposit is deducted off your final invoice. If your deposit is not received within this time, your tentative booking may be cancelled.







ROOM HIRE and STAFF COSTS



If you require a room only, a room hire fee will be required regardless of the number of guests.



Room Hire Fee Week Days $110 Half Audi  $220 Whole Audi. Please note Wednesday and Friday nights are not available. Saturdays $150 Half Audi  $250 Whole Audi



Sunday $150 Half Audi  $250 Whole Audi Members



Members - Room hire is as above for 1-80 guests. For 80 plus adult guests room hire is free of charge for MEMBERS only.



Sundays and Public Holiday Functions incur a 10% surcharge on all costs.



All room hire is based on five hour duration. If room is hired for longer than 5 hours or the function exceeds five hours then a further charge may occur.







Staffing for Bar (only)



Bar Service (Function Bar) for 1-80 adult guests requires 1 bar staff at $25 per hour per bar staff member



Bar Service (Function Bar) for 80 plus adult guests requires 2 bar staff at $25 per hour per bar staff member



Table service (Bar items) for 1-80 adult guests requires 2 bar staff at $25 per hour per bar staff member  



Table service (Bar items) for 80 plus adult guests requires 3 bar staff at $25 per hour per bar staff member 







*18th Parties - Booking must be approved by Management. Bookings are to be made by an adult other than the guest of honour. In addition there is a charge for security personnel of $45 per hour per guard. Two security guards are required per function.







*21st Parties -  Bookings are to be made by an adult other than the guest of honour. In addition there is a charge for security personnel of $45 per hour per guard. One (+) security guard is/are required per function depending on the number of guests.







*High School Reunions -  There is a charge for security personnel of $45 per hour per guard. One (+) security guard is/are required per function depending on the number of guests.







CLUB’S LICENCE CONDITIONS



All guests must be signed into the club upon arrival to the club (unless they are a current member). All guests must comply with the Registered Clubs Act governing the club’s licence conditions. No person under the age of eighteen years is permitted in licensed areas and must have adult supervision at all times. No persons under the age of 18 are permitted to attend a function without a parent or legal guardian. The club must be notified of any entertainment that the organiser intends to book and they must supply certificate of currency for insurance.







RESPONSIBLE SERVICE OF ALCOHOL



Please be aware the Club has a responsibility to all our patrons, guests and staff. Under these guidelines we are not permitted to: Sell or serve liquor to minors. Hold liquor promotions that encourage binge drinking, drunkenness or misconduct. Allow the admission of intoxicated persons. Serve alcohol to any persons who we believe to be intoxicated or who are acting in a drunk and disorderly manor. Allow patrons behaviour to have an adverse impact on the neighbourhood.







CANCELLATION



Should you need to cancel your function, we will fully refund your deposit if we are notified a minimum 14 days in advance. Please note that if your function is cancelled after this period, no refund will apply. All cancellations are required in writing.







CATERING



No food or beverages may be brought onto the premises of The Galston Club (with the exception of Celebration Cakes) 



When providing a cake of your own there are two options: 



1. The cake will be cut, plated and served with a garnish to your guest at a fee of $2.00 per person



2. The cake is cut and served on platters for your guests to help them selves at no cost.







We have a large variety of menus for you to choose from with a minimum of 30 guests. To ensure that we can cater for your function efficiently, it is essential that all details be finalised 14 days prior to you function.







FINAL NUMBERS




Final numbers for your function are required 7 days prior to your function. This is when final payment for your function is required. Please note that the final numbers of guests confirmed is the number you will be invoiced for.

DRESS REGULATIONS 



he appearance of all guests and members must be neat and tidy at all times. The following dress is not permitted at any time; thongs, bare feet, singlets, swimwear, offensive t-shirts and caps.







DAMAGE



Organisers are financially responsible for any damage sustained to Club property during functions. No responsibility for damage or loss of merchandise or articles left in the Club prior to, during or after the function is taken.







RE-LOCATION



The club reserves the right to relocate a function if numbers do not fill the room first booked. 







PRICE VARIATION



Every endeavour is made to maintain the original prices quoted, however these may be subjected to change. The Galston Club reserves the right to alter prices as required, however this will be done in full consultation with all relative parties. 







PAYMENT



Cash, Credit Card or Cheque (with the approval of management). All prices shown include GST .
